I ordered this dress for my daughterās birthday. The craftsmanship is excellent ā the stitching is neat, the fabric feels high quality, and the overall design looks exactly as pictured. It has that āspecial occasionā feel that made it perfect for a birthday celebration.
That said, once my daughter put it on, we noticed a few issues that became more apparent throughout the day. The dress is quite heavy, which made it a bit uncomfortable for her to move around and play as freely as she usually does. More concerning, though, were the sequins. While they looked beautiful and sparkled wonderfully in photos, the edges were extremely rough. Within an hour or so, she began complaining that her arms hurt, and by the end of the party, she had visible scratches and welts on her hands and arms where the sequins rubbed against her skin.
It was heartbreaking to see her leave her own birthday party uncomfortable and in pain after being so excited to wear her special dress. I wish the designer had done something to prevent irritation.
Overall, the dress is stunning and well made, but unfortunately, itās not very wearable ā especially for young children who will be active during their celebration. It might be best suited for photos or very short-term wear rather than an all-day event.
